横浜市山手の丘の一角に位置する、低層分譲集合住宅。近傍の分散する6つの敷地で同事業者が展開するPJの一つであり、外構植栽や建物外壁などで連続感を作り出し、山手地区の新たな景観を担っていく意識を強く設計した。私たちは山手の丘の街並みの特徴である、奥行き、開放された前庭・豊かな緑を継承するために、戸建て住宅ではなく小規模低層住宅群としての開発を選択した。駐車場は地下に埋め、建物は極力奥に配し、セキュリティラインを後退させ、道路沿いに広い空地を確保。空地は隣接する広場との繋がりを考慮した広場・歩道状空地・緑地とし、訪れる人々に開放している。季節の花が咲く植栽やベンチなど人々が周辺の公園と同じように楽しめる空間にした。建物の外壁は山手になじみがあり経年美化するレンガタイルを使用、外構も隣接する公園と同じ小端積みを使用した。
　
　
This low-rise condominium complex is located in a corner of Yamate Hill in Yokohama City.
It is one of scattered sites developed by the same crient, and was designed with a strong awareness of creating a sense of continuity with the exterior plantings and building exterior walls, contributing to the new landscape of the Yamate area.We chose to develop a group of small, low-rise residence units rather than detached houses in order to preserve the depth, open front gardens, and abundant greenery that are characteristic of the streetscape. The parking lot is buried underground, the buildings are positioned as far back as possible, the security line is set back, and large open spaces are secured along the road. The spaces designed to connect with the adjacent plaza, creating a plaza, walkway-like open space, and green space is open to visitors. With seasonal flowering plants and benches, the space can be enjoyed in the same way as the surrounding park. The exterior walls of the buildings use brick tiles that are familiar to Yamate and will age beautifully, and the plaza also uses the same edge-stacked stones as the adjacent park.
